Poema:

feel uglyDe migajas no..

A Broken Person Fit for Leadership in the Kingdom of God

Romans 4:7 - "Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight."

Abraham agreed to make love to his wife’s servant Hagar to leave a legacy, thinking God would not fulfill His promise, causing jealousy, broken hearts, abandonment, and hatred between the Arabs and the Jews.
Moses, yes he brought us the Ten Commandments, already having been guilty of murder and going from being an Egyptian prince to a herdsman out in the field.
David murdered Uriah to cover up the sin of adultery with his wife Bathsheba.
Peter denied Jesus and then used profanity when confronted, then went out and cried.
Saul/Paul assisted in stoning to death the first Christian martyr, went all over Israel persecuting Christians finally going blind when confronted on the Road to Damascus.

Abraham became the father of Isaac and an entire nation, and is the father of faith, also the friend of God!
Moses saw God face to face, set his people free from slavery and brought us the Ten Commandments.
David, what can be said of David, he became the greatest king of Israel, the ancestor of the Messiah, and we know him as a “man after God’s own heart.”
Peter became the leader of the church in Jerusalem, and was not only forgiven by Jesus but charged by Jesus to “feed My sheep.”
Paul became the greatest missionary of the early church, responsible for bringing the gospel to the Gentiles and wrote half of the New Testament.

Yes He works miracles on them and is working them in us today!

Answer to Satan's Terror

ANSWER TO TERROR
GOD IS A SHELTER, A REFUGE WHEN WE ARE AFRAID
FOURTH OF FOUR PART STUDY

I. Terror comes from fear and fear comes from Satan

  • 1 John 4:17-18 – “And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of Judgment, but we can face him with confidence because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of judgment, and this shows that his love has not been perfected in us.”
  • If we are afraid of the future, eternity, or God’s judgment, we can remind ourselves of God’s love. We know that he loves us perfectly (Romans 8:38, 39). We can resolve our fears first by focusing on his immeasurable love for us, and then by allowing him to others through us. His love will quiet your fears and give you confidence.
  • Psalm 91:5, 14 – “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day… The Lord says, ‘I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.”
  • God is a shelter, a refuge when we are afraid. We should put all of our trust in God trading all our fears for faith in him, no matter how intense our fears. In order to do this we must live and rest with him (Psalm 91:1) entrusting ourselves to his protection and pledging our daily devotion to him, we will be kept safe.
II. Why does Satan terrorize us?

  • For the Word’s sake; Mark 4:17 – “But like young plants in such soil, their roots don’t go very deep. At first they get along fine, but they wilt as soon as they have problems or are persecuted because they believe the word.”
  • We need to let our roots grow deep into the soil, some are open to God about our future, but Satan prevents us from opening the door and letting Him in completely, some respond like good soil to His demand to worship but respond like rocky soil when He speaks to us. Try to be like good soil in every area of life at all times. He will orchestrate and guide all our moves if we let Him.
  • To perturb the Body of Christ to prevent us from;
  • From receiving revelations of prosperity see Mark 10:30
  • From uniting one in service see Philippians 1:28, 2:1-2
III. We can prosper in the midst of Satan’s terror – We must!

  • In unity we hold the Word in the midst of corruption Philippians 2:15-16
  • Some produced one hundredfold in the midst of all that Satan was doing in Mark 4:20, all the planting, growing, receiving, etc. being done while Satan was trying to steal the Word.
IV. The answer to Satan’s Terrorism

  • Decide and dedicate ourselves to live to give, prosper and stick together
  • Long life and peace per Proverbs 3:1-4
  • Have great peace per Psalm 119:165
  • He remembers that we are dust Psalm 103:1-14
  • God is our life Deuteronomy 30:19-20
  • We are alive Proverbs 3:7-8
  • God will preserve us Deuteronomy 6:24
  • Life and many days, depart from evil, watch your tongue, and pursue peace. Psalm 34:11-14
  • Life and peace Romans 8:1-6
  • Keep our prayers before God, without having to repeat them
“But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

Heavenly Father, You know the terror that we encounter each day. Father the Scriptures promise that we will not be terrorized beyond what we can bear. I ask for your strength that we can stand up under Satan’s terror whenever we encounter it. The Scriptures also tell us that you will provide a way to fight off that terror. Lord, give us the wisdom to ward off, bind and walk away from Satan when he terrorizes us, and the clarity to see the way out that you have provided. Thank you, Lord for you are our faithful deliverer and that we can count on your help in our time of need. In Jesus’ Holy Name I pray. Amen

Founders Testimony

Founders Testimony

I was born into and raised in a Catholic family completely involved in the Catholic church as an altar boy in Cuba, a communist country where religion was frowned upon, I was so dedicated that in the 5th grade I even invited a friend Luis Rojas to join me at church even though we were laughed at and ridiculed. I was raised with the teachings of Jesus Christ wanting to grow up to be a Priest as was my favorite Priest growing up, Father Estrada. Unfortunately, I was only a Christian by name and my life was not what it should have been as we are told in Romans 12:1&2.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

When we left Cuba in 1967 and came to the United States my desire to continue in the church slowly dissipated and then that desire was replace by my wanting to study, play baseball and earn money as that was the only way we were supposed to have a bright future in this materialistic world, I completely strayed from the church, and from God. I had no desire to even think or dream about serving God in my life. My mother was always insisting that I had a calling to the ministry, but I would often tell her that she was wrong that and that I was in total control of my life, and bragged about my father telling one of his favorite brothers at Angelus Temple (Brother Sanchez) that I was not a hypocrite so why would I attend church or even think about the ministry.

For over 40 years all my plans and dreams were in direct contrast to the plans that God has for my life, even after accepting Jesus as my Savior in 1983. After my baptism also in 1983 I continued on my worldly ways stumbling along looking for happiness, a happiness that led me to lose my marriage to a wonderful woman in 1996 because of adultery. An act of adultery totally covered in sin which continued and by marrying the person trying to cover the sin thus compounding the situation.

As Malachi 2:14-16 tells us; Yet you say, “For what reason?” Because the Lord has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. For the Lord God of Israel says that He hates divorce, for it covers one’s garment with violence,” says the Lord of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

And sure enough on August 9, 2013 (luckily I did not physically injure the person, as a woman should never be physically abused) in violence the marriage did end, and because of the actions that I took in reaction to some very hurtful comments, I in total shame of having my children witnessing the way in which I reacted committed suicide that night by hanging myself at the Collin County Detention Facility in their infirmary.

I specifically say committed suicide because I have proof that the Lord has plans for us and He is in total control of our circumstances. Yes, I succeeded in the flesh but He had other plans and He has not only called me to the ministry but by the blood Jesus shed on the Cross and His Resurrection I have been redeemed.

God miraculously saved my life, He walked me up a very steep mountain, He had His hand on my left shoulder as He walked me up the mountain. The ground was covered with the softest greenest grass, to the left the most beautiful garden, and to the right a tall fence made out of precious stones, the top layer being topaz. Now the light that was shining was not the usual sunlight but a very bright light comparable to those lights at sporting events. As we neared the top of the mountain there were many voices praising the name of Jesus in different languages, when we arrived at the top there was a very large Pearl blocking the entrance into part of the mountain, He then stepped in front of me touched the pearl and it opened revealing the most beautiful gold filled street, buildings, and street, He then asked me if I was ready to go in, but before I could respond He showed me a picture of my son Brian with Fran Davis which used to hang above my desk, when I saw the picture I told Him “not now,” and immediately He closed the pearl and started walking me back down the mountain.

On the way down I could see some police officers pounding on my chest trying to revive which account for the pain I felt for about 2 weeks, I heard one of them telling someone “take a picture of his neck he is not breathing.” Next thing I knew I woke up strapped onto a bed in a different room. God had given me a second chance to live for HIM and I then realized that our real LIFE begins after our death. Now then I understand fully the meaning of what Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:3 were Jesus answered him by telling him “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Whether I am going to be spending eternity in Heaven or in Hell my worldly plans and dreams came to an end that August night in 2013. God totally changed my life and I have decided to serve God, at any cost.

During my incarceration not only did God speak to me but He showed His presence in my life by some miraculous events that took place, my being able to minister to troubled men and leading them to find Jesus as their Savior was no coincidence, no He had His hands all over it. Not only has the Holy Spirit convicted me, but my hunger and thirst to know more about the Word of God grows more each day. So, in response to His calling I have started the Rayed Redemption Ministry for His glory.
In October 2013 I received a call from God to fulfill His Great Commission, as it says in Matthew 28: 18, 19 & 20 - "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. During that same month God put me in a position to start ministering to some men who actually were facing situations which are so difficult, situations that in my wildest dreams could I had ever imagined.

On February 12, 2014 God spoke to me and gave me a vision to start Rayed Redemption Ministry. And for His glory that labor of love has started.

Since that October day when God called on me and to this day, I can see how God is so amazing and how already He has done miraculous things in my life. How He continuously pours out his faithful love and blessings day after day and how He has put on me this burning desire, a call to reach out to lost souls and claim them for His kingdom.

My daily prayer to Him many thanks for I am not yet the man He wants me to be, but I thank Him everyday that I am not the same man I used to be.

Superando El Pasado

"Ojalá no fuera..."

Overcoming the Past

The past is locked away in a vault. The vault of the past cannot be fully opened. We can see in the vault. We can, through numerous means, sift through the contents of the vault. However, we cannot fully unlock the vault because the past is not with us in the here and now. The past is gone and gone forever. We cannot change the past. We cannot remake the past. Much as we might want to go back and make things over, we can never go back. Tragically, we can live every day thinking "If only…".

"If only I hadn't..."
"If only I could have..."
"If only I weren't..."

We can spend time trying to overcome what we did or did not do in the past but what we cannot do is change what we did or did not do. What we can do is focus on the here and now and change what we do in the here and now. We cannot change what happened in the past but we can change the way we deal with what happened in the past.

If the obstacles of your present life are obstacles from your past, your best chance of success are dealing with your present obstacles in the here and now. You can only live today, not yesterday, not last week, or last year, or ten years ago. You can only fix problems you have now, even if your present problems are from ten years ago.

Change what you can change today because you cannot change what you did or what happened to you yesterday. For example, today you can forgive in order to erase the hurt from yesterday.

If these words have been a blessing to you please forward them to a friend.
